-ir verbs share the -er endings in the singular (o, es, e) but take -imos and -ís in the plural. The common ones are vivir, escribir, abrir, recibir, subir.
Verbs & Conjugation — Verb groups, stem changes, the passe compose and irregular verbs.
vivir → viv. Then add o, es, e, imos, ís, en. Notice: the singular is identical to -er, but nosotros takes -imos and vosotros takes -ís.

Yo vivo en Madrid. (I live in Madrid.) Ella escribe cartas. (She writes letters.) Nosotros abrimos la tienda. (We open the shop.) ¿Recís el correo? (Do you plural receive the mail?)
Yo vivo en Madrid। (मैं मैड्रिड में रहता हूँ।) Ella escribe cartas। (वह पत्र लिखती है।) Nosotros abrimos la tienda। (हम दुकान खोलते हैं।) ¿Recís el correo? (क्या आप लोग मेल प्राप्त करते हैं?)
A learner writes vivemos or vivenmos. The rule is clear: -ir verbs take -emos in nosotros, not -emos. Remember: "ir" goes with "imos".
शिक्षार्थी *vivemos या *vivemos लिखता है। नियम साफ़ है: -ir क्रियाएँ nosotros में -emos नहीं, -imos लेती हैं। याद रखें: "ir" "imos" के साथ जाता है।
There are far fewer -ir verbs than -ar or -er. At A1 you only need vivir, escribir, abrir, recibir and subir. Learn these five and you have covered the group.
