Coherence is what turns sentences into a text: a paragraph has one idea, each sentence links to the last, and pronouns refer back clearly. B2 is where this is graded.

Each paragraph states one idea, supports it and closes it. A paragraph that jumps from opinion to example to counter-argument and back reads as three paragraphs crushed together.

Pronouns and demonstratives must point to one obvious antecedent: Este problema... refers to the problem just named, not to something three sentences back. Ambiguity is a coherence fault, not a grammar one.

A learner writes "el transporte público" in every sentence. After the first mention, use a pronoun or a synonym: este servicio, aquel medio, lo. Repetition flattens the text.

Spend two minutes listing one idea per paragraph before writing. A short plan removes most coherence errors and buys time for vocabulary and structures.
