Gustar works backwards from English. You do not "like" something; something "is pleasing" to you. Me gusta el café = "coffee is pleasing to me". The verb agrees with the thing liked, not the person.
Verbs & Conjugation — Verb groups, stem changes, the passe compose and irregular verbs.
Me gusta el café. (I like coffee.) Te gusta la música. (You like music.) Le gusta el libro. (He likes the book.) The verb gusta agrees with the thing (café, música, libro), not with the person.
Me gusta el café। (मुझे कॉफ़ी पसंद है।) Te gusta la música। (तुम्हें संगीत पसंद है।) Le gusta el libro। (उसे किताब पसंद है।) क्रिया gusta व्यक्ति से नहीं, चीज़ से मेल खाती है (café, música, libro)।
Use gusta with one thing or an infinitive: Me gusta el chocolate, me gusta nadar. Use gustan with plural things: Me gustan los libros, me gustan las películas.
एक चीज़ या अनंत रूप के साथ gusta लें: Me gusta el chocolate, me gusta nadar। बहुवचन चीज़ों के साथ gustan लें: Me gustan los libros, me gustan las películas।
me (to me), te (to you), le (to him/her), nos (to us), os (to you plural), les (to them). These come BEFORE gusta: Me gusta, te gusta, le gusta, nos gusta, les gustan.
me (मुझे), te (तुम्हें), le (उसे), nos (हमें), os (आप लोगों को), les (उन्हें)। ये gusta के पहले आते हैं: Me gusta, te gusta, le gusta, nos gusta, les gustan।
¿Te gusta el café? (Do you like coffee?) Me gustan las manzanas. (I like apples.) Nos gusta viajar. (We like to travel.) Les gusta el fútbol. (They like football.)
¿Te gusta el café? (क्या तुम्हें कॉफ़ी पसंद है?) Me gustan las manzanas। (मुझे सेब पसंद हैं।) Nos gusta viajar। (हमें सफ़र करना पसंद है।) Les gusta el fútbol। (उन्हें फुटबॉल पसंद है।)
An English speaker says "yo gusto el café" (I like coffee). In Spanish, gustar does not take a subject. The correct form is me gusta el café — coffee is the subject, I am the indirect object.
अंग्रेज़ी बोलने वाला "yo gusto el café" बोलता है। स्पैनिश में gustar कोई विषय नहीं लेता। सही रूप me gusta el café — कॉफ़ी विषय है, मैं अप्रत्यक्ष कर्म हूँ।
When you want to say "I like X", think "X is pleasing to me". This one mental shift fixes the verb, the pronoun and the agreement all at once.
"I like X" कहना हो तो सोचें "X मुझे अच्छा लगता है"। यह एक मानसिक बदलाव क्रिया, सर्वनाम और समझौते — तीनों को एक साथ सुलझा देता है।
