The progressive is estar plus the gerund: estoy hablando. It describes an action in progress right now, and irregular gerunds shift a vowel.
Verbs & Conjugation — Verb groups, stem changes, the passe compose and irregular verbs.
gerund of -ar → -ando (hablando); -er and -ir → -iendo (comiendo, viviendo). estar is conjugated, the gerund never changes: estoy, estás, está + hablando.
-ar का gerundio → -ando (hablando); -er और -ir → -iendo (comiendo, viviendo)। estar संयुग्मित होता है, gerundio कभी नहीं बदलता: estoy, estás, está + hablando।
estar + gerundio. Irregulars: leyendo, oyendo, durmiendo, pidiendo, diciendo, yendo. Pronouns attach: Estoy escribiéndolo.

A learner uses the infinitive after estar: *Estoy estudiar. estar needs the gerund for an action in progress: Estoy estudiando. The infinitive follows verbs like quiero and puedo.
शिक्षार्थी estar के बाद infinitivo लगाता है: *Estoy estudiar। जारी क्रिया के लिए estar को gerundio चाहिए: Estoy estudiando। infinitivo quiero और puedo जैसी क्रियाओं के बाद आता है।
A2 contrasts estar + gerundio with the simple present. For an action happening now, the progressive is the natural choice.
